What happens when you put this
together with this?
Dali's Persistence of Memory
Well, you will get this: Destino.
(i) Jack Warner of Warner Brother Studio 华纳兄弟.
Disney production went into financial difficulty in late 1946. The unfinished cut of Destino, together with Dali’s 22 paintings and a sketchy script went into storage and faded from memory.
In 1999, long after Dali and Disney had passed away, Roy E. Disney, cousin of Walt Disney, discovered the uncompleted film serendipitously.
When I came across this story in late 2004, all I found on the Internet were a few still photos. (See below}
Youtube was not in existence yet. All I knew was that it was a surrealistic rendition of an ill-fated affair between a female mortal and the Greek deity Chronos, the keeper of time. A couple of days ago, quite out of the blue, I decided to check for updated information and hit pay dirt: a video of the show. Since you have no access to Youtube, the one below is from Youko. Enjoy it.
